Their Story Began with One Funny First Date
One of our favorite things about wedding days is hearing how every couple’s story began.
For Goodwin and Kaleb, it all started with a dating app.
Their very first date was a trip to the beach.
Only… it didn’t exactly go as Kaleb imagined.
As Goodwin tells it, she stepped out of the car, stood in the sand for about thirty seconds, decided she’d had enough of the beach, and was ready to leave.
Most people would assume that was the end of the date.
Fortunately for both of them, Kaleb wasn’t quite frustrated enough to stop talking to her.
That one memorable first date eventually turned into countless conversations, a growing relationship, and ultimately the wedding day they had both been waiting for.
One of our favorite moments from their wedding film comes from Goodwin herself:
“I’ve always been a Type A person. I like plans, certainty, and knowing what comes next. Growing up, I had Pinterest boards filled with my dream wedding. But the one thing I could never plan for was who my husband would be.”
Then Kaleb came along.
The rest, as they say, is history.
